When listening to a teacher, always pray the LORD the SPIRIT guides you in discernment and study the Scripture\/Bible with the guidance of the SPIRIT to test the teaching, especially if it doesn’t sound right. Why have this section? As Believers, our bodies are temples that the SPIRIT indwells; and we are not our own, our bodies belong to the LORD (1 Cor 6:17). So, our body is like a car the LORD has bestowed to us. If we do not take care of our body, it stops working; and instead of helping and serving other people, other people have to help and serve us. But, to not take care of ourselves on purpose is selfish and not loving toward others. The Temple had daily sacrifices and had to be taken care of daily, so we should take care of our temple of our mind, body, and spirit daily (Lev 6:8, 9, 12, 13; Num 28:3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). But, if you have read the Healing section above, you may be asking why not just heal everything? For the same reason a Believer does not continue to sin even though all their sins are forgiven. A Believer wants to please the LORD and be holy as HE is holy to come into a closer relationship with the LORD. Out of love to the LORD for the image of HIMSELF that HE gave us, we do the best to take care of that image that is our body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will this section have in it? I’m a registered nurse who does not like the medical system that sometimes just treats the symptoms instead of the cause. And, I am a married dad of 5 boys, 1 girl, and 6 grandchildren. So, this section will have as much as possible backed up by the Bible, and then there will be other information from my research to include in helping take care of our bodies. This is not a section to follow to the letter, but to help others have info that I did not know or could not find myself for a long time. There are areas of my life I didn’t really think about taking care of or even how to take care some areas. There will also be controversial subjects that you can read, like the Biblical subject of clothing and hats (never even though about the hat subject or looking into it Biblically until I was older and was fellowshipping with some people who had made or were making wearing or not wearing hats a big deal<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
