Wordless Book or Bracelet

YELLOW / GOLD

Reminds us of the holy perfect sinless God who is the light of the world. He made the Heavens and the Earth and all the plants and animals. God lives in Heaven where the city and streets are made of gold. God loves you and wants you to know about him and live with him forever in the beautiful perfect place of Heaven as part of his family where there is no pain, sorrow, tears, or death.

BLACK

Reminds us of our darkness and unholiness because of our sin. Sin is anything we think, say, or do against God. Everyone has sinned. Do you know how you have sinned? (See 10 Commandments for ideas) Our unholy sin has to be punished. When you see God after you die with your unholy sin still with you and your name is not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life, the holiness of God will try to get rid of your unholy sin with fire and burning forever. Do you want to know how to get your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life so you with your sin will not be burned forever?

RED

Yeshua (Jesus) (Some call Yeshua by his English nickname) is the holy perfect Son and Lamb of God and can write your name into the Lamb’s Book of Life. Red reminds us of Yeshua’s blood that can make us holy and clean. He loves you so much he came from Heaven to Earth to take your unholiness and punishment upon himself. He did this by dying on a cross and being buried in a cave in the Earth and in 3 days he rose from the dead. He says if you repent (which means you no longer want to sin but you want to turn away from your sins and turn toward God) and want to be a part of God’s family and make him your God and follow after him and believe he loved you by dying for your sins, He will make you a part of his family and write your name into the Lamb’s Book of Life. Then when you die you can be in Heaven with God without burning because Yeshua has already taken your punishment for you. Do you believe Yeshua died for your sins? Do you want to stop sinning and make him your God and have your name writen in the Lamb’s Book of Life?

WHITE

Reminds us of holiness and being clean. Just tell Yeshua you don’t want to sin anymore and you are sorry for the sins you have done (this is called repenting). Then tell Yeshua you want him to be your God/Lord and come into your life, and tell him you believe he died to take your punishment for your sins. If you really believe in your heart what you said about Yeshua being your God and the one who saves you, you are now part of God’s family forever. Now you are seen by God as holy and clean, white as snow. And God will not leave you and will protect you. Just call out to Yeshua when you are in a time of trouble.

BLUE

Reminds us of cleansing water. Now you will notice the book of Acts is talking about getting baptized, which is like taking a short swim under water or like when you put your body under water for a little bit to get washed off during a bath. This is showing everyone else you don’t want to sin anymore, and you want God to wash you clean and guide your life. Yeshua shows us what water baptism is like in Matthew. Going under the water is symbolizing burying your old sinful self, and coming out of the water is symbolizing becoming a new person in Yeshua. Getting washed by the water is also showing how God can clean your body and your life by the Spirit of God. God has a spirit just like you, but you can ask God’s Spirit to come into your body. Then God will be inside you to give you comfort, to guide you, to give you protection, and God will give you gifts you can ask for. A list of those gifts, like God speaking wisdom through us or God healing the sick through us, are in 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Not everybody gets the same gifts just like each of us are different. But when we get together with other believers, we get to see all the gifts he gives each of us to help us love God, each other, and those who don’t know God.

GREEN

Reminds us of growing. Remember God loves us and wants to have a relationship with us, and he also wants us to love others like he loves them. We can get closer in our relationship to God by praying to him. Praying to God is talking to God. We can also read his love letter, the Bible, or have someone read it to us. Ask God to guide you to understand it when you read it. God wants us to find others who love Yeshua and build a relationship with them. You can usually find other people who believe in Yeshua at a church. (For children: You can ask your parents to take you to a church.) There will be times you sin. When those times come, just turn back to Yeshua and ask for forgiveness. Ask God to help you not to sin again, to save you from your enemies, and to walk and talk to God being filled with Spirit of God. And lastly, tell others how they can become a part of God’s family and live in Heaven.
