Always check the teaching with Scripture/Bible. We are in agreement with most of the teaching in these videos, but. Well, the buts are below.
We have not checked any teaching outside of this video series. If the material in the video series is Biblical, then it is good to use. There are other ministries mentioned in the first 2 videos. We are not supporting or endorsing those ministries, as we do not know where they stand Biblically.
This next part is a really big deal. You don’t have to use the name of YESHUA/JESUS, and they will still be healed as shown when Paul told a man to stand without using the name of YESHUA (Acts 14:10). But, also notice Paul and Barnabas were called gods in this situation, and the people wanted to offer sacrifices to them (Acts 14:11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19). What a Believer does should reflect and represent YESHUA. It is not all about healing. It is about eternal life in Heaven with the LORD or eternal life in Hell without the blessings of the LORD. Healing is about showing people their gods are not gods and WHO the true GOD really is and that HE can save them even though nobody deserves being saved. It is about making disciples of YESHUA/JESUS. Mt 7:12 states, “12 Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” So, doesn’t that mean I should heal everyone even if they don’t know where the healing is coming from, because I would want to be healed? Let us ask the question differently. If you are believing in a false god with no power and someone comes along and heals your children without telling you, then who or what are you going to believe healed your children? The false god. Now, it appears as though the false god has power and is a real god. You will then teach your children this false god has true power. When a Believer comes around even with the power of the true GOD to heal and deliver a message of salvation in YESHUA, you will think your false god has the same power. Is this love? Is it loving to cause someone to put faith in a false god that could result in them and their children going to Hell/the-Lake-of-Burning-Fire-and-Sulfur? Remember, healing is for a sign that the Good News of YESHUA is true.
Don’t you have to have a person’s permission to heal them? Curry would say no. Our position is YESHUA only healed those who came to HIM and wanted healed. The article Rulership covers this topic and was added to the Healing article series.
There is a statement that “the Devil killed my daughter” with no Scripture reference in the 2nd video. So, what does the Bible teach on this subject.
Hebrews 2:14, 15 states, “14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, HE also HIMSELF in the same way partook of the same, that through death HE might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the Devil, 15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
The Devil “had” the power of death, but “had” is past tense. This is because now YESHUA/JESUS has the keys of death and of Hades/Sheol (Rev 1:18). Even before YESHUA had the keys of death, each person’s days were and are numbered by the LORD as Job 14:5 states, “5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months is with YOU, and YOU have appointed his bounds that he can’t pass.” Those days of being physically alive can be shortened by a person’s sin or the consequences of someone else’s sin or lengthened by GOD’s mercy/grace (Ecc 7:17; Psm 55:23; Ex 20:12; Pro 9:11; 10:27; Eph 6:1, 2, 3; Isa 38: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
But, there is still an enemy that killed his daughter. It is called death, and in the future after YESHUA comes back and fully defeats all enemies including the Devil, death will be thrown into the final judgement of the Lake-of-Burning-Fire-and-Sulfur/Hell (Rev 20:14). Romans 5:12 states, “12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death passed to all men because all sinned.” The LORD made us without the effects of death in the beginning. Then after we sinned and pushed the LORD away from us, death entered the world. Since all have sin and Rom 6:23 states, “23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Sickness is a part of that death which is why sickness can lead to death (Jhn 11:4). Sin, sickness, and death has already been overcome by YESHUA because HE defeated sin, sickness, and death on the Cross (Isa 53:4, 5, 6). YESHUA holds the keys to death and gives the free gift of eternal life. A Believer in YESHUA just needs to believe and stand in that victory to overcome and defeat any of the effects of sin, sickness, or death (1 Pet 2:24; Mrk 16:16, 17, 18).
There is a false statement in the videos that Mt 28:17 seems to contradict Mrk 16:14. We believe all Scripture to be true no matter what. Our answer to this apparent contradiction is in Luke 24. All of them did not believe at first, but the 2 that YESHUA had already revealed HIMSELF to did believe by the time YESHUA was before all the Apostles. Of course, Matthew is still stating the truth that makes himself appear better than the others.
The Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT and the Filling of the HOLY Spirit is explained from the Bible/Scripture/Word with references in this article and in the Healing article. This topic has created great confusion and division in the Church into different camps instead of the unity YESHUA prayed for. The linked article shows how there is truth in the divided camps and there is things that need to line up with Scripture in both camps in order for the camps to have unity.
