Yisra’el (Israel) enters Mitzrayim (Egypt) & Cries out to the LORD
2336 AC (1676 BC) to 2548 AC (1464 BC)
When Yisra’el (Israel) was 130 years old in 2336 AC (1676 BC), he entered Mitzrayim (Egypt) because of famine in the land that forced the family of Yisra’el (Israel) out of Kena‘an (Canaan) due to their sins (Gen 47:9, 28; 45:6, 11; 37:18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36). After the family of Yisra’el (Israel) is enslaved & oppressed, they cried out to the LORD and HE sent Mosheh (Moses) to deliver them (Ex 2:23, 24, 25; 3:7, 8, 9, 10). Mosheh (Moses) was born on the 7th day of the 12th Month (Adar) in the year 2468 AC (1544 BC) (Sotah 12b:17). The plagues fron the LORD upon Mitsrayim (Egypt) occurred during the Shemiththah (Shemitah) year of 2548 AC (1464 BC) while Mosheh (Moses) was 80 years old and his brother ’Aharon (Aaron) was 83 years old (Ex 7:7).
