Healing
(All new material will be posted in Ongoing as new things are learned. I do not think anything below, except for edits, will be changing. Green text is what was added later. This just helps those who have read this material to see the changes without rereading the whole article.)
This topic brings up so much controversy, which hopefully this article will bring some peace to. That said, this is a work in progress, meaning things may be changed as I grow in this topic, especially if you bring something to my attention. In the past, I was seeing about 70% results with healing in the name of YESHUA/JESUS. As discovered in the video series below, most of the Church is only seeing 10% results. I still was not satisfied with 70%, because the Scripture states we are to see 100%. I almost gave up on healing. A lot of the teachings out there make it about how much sin or faith you have affects the healing. These ideas lead to thinking you don’t have enough faith, place the focus on sin rather than on GOD, or even blame GOD for the healing not taking place. After prayer and fasting (and not even thinking about healing at that point), the LORD placed Curry Blake’s teaching before me. And, I am very thankful to the LORD for that. I know many of you, including my family, have lost loved ones to horrible diseases even after praying for them. We are in a battle that is not against our Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST; it is against the enemy (Eph 6:12). If in a battle, you find out that someone figured out how the enemy is striking your Brothers & Sisters down, do you just let the enemy continue striking down your Brothers and Sisters in horrible ways or do you learn from that someone how to fight back?

Is it ever the will of the LORD for anyone to sin? The answer should be an obvious “no”, YESHUA/JESUS died on the Cross for our sin (1 Pet 2:24; Jhn 10:10). So, the curse of sin was and is sickness and death (Gen 2:16, 17; Rom 5:12). YESHUA died for sin and its curse to bring an end to sin and its curse (Gal 3:13; Rev 22:3). So, is it ever the will of the LORD for anyone to have the curse of sickness and death that is the wages of sin (Rom 6:23)?
The answer should be an obvious “no”, but many of you will be arguing with your own mind on this “no”. The answer can be nothing but a “no”, but many of us have been taught so many things that would make the answer to this question a “maybe”, even though we know it has to be a “no”. One of the many arguments against it being a “no” is didn’t Paul have a thorn the LORD would not take away? A thorn/thorn-bush is always the enemy of the LORD in the form of people and never a sickness (2 Kgs 14:9; 2 Chron 25:18; Ecc 7:6; Ezek 28:24; Mic 7:4). Even 2 Cor 12:7 states the thorn is a messenger of Satan. Didn’t Paul have bad eyesight? Gal 6:11 is about how he was writing long written letters, not how big of font he was using. All the arguments are reasons people have come up with as to why their ministry was not healing 100% of everyone with anything as the Scripture states should happen.
If you have looked at the Testimonies section, according to several near death testimonies, only about 2.5% may be going to Heaven. What does that have to do with healing?
Mark 16:17, 18 states: “17 These signs will accompany those who believe: in MY name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages/tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
1 Cor 14:22a states: ” 22 Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving…”
And, Acts 3:16 states: “ By faith in HIS name, HIS name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through HIM has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
So, Mrk 16:15, 16, 17, 18 is stating signs are given to Believers to show unbeliever’s that YESHUA/JESUS has power over the physical world and therefore has power over the spiritual world to resurrect the spiritually dead unbeliever into new eternal life in HIS name. This allows a Believer in YESHUA/JESUS to give an example/sign to the unbeliever so that they might believe.
The LORD came to set the captives free (Luk 4:17, 18, 19, 20, 21). HE died for every person that is a captive (Jhn 3:16). Then, like HE told Yisra’el/Israel to go and conquer the land of Kena‘an/Canaan, the LORD told all Believers to continue what HE started and conquer the land (spiritually) and set the captives free (physically) [ref is video series below]. Earth is the new Kena‘an/Canaan/Promised-Land where YESHUA will set up HIS Kingdom forever (Dan 7:18, 27; 2:34, 35; Mt 3:2; 4:17; 10:7; Rev 20:4, 6; Rev 21:1, 2, 3, 24; 22:5; Isa 65:17 and verses after). Each person has to make a decision whether they want to be with the LORD, join HIS family, and be born again spiritually to enter the Kingdom of Heaven or remain separate from the LORD and remain spiritually dead (Jhn 3:3, 5, 6). But, it is up to every Believer to conquer the land and set the captives free in the physical world, even though it is a spiritual battle they are fighting (Mrk 16:15, 16, 17, 18). But, just as Yisra’el/Israel failed to conquer the land of Kena‘an/Canaan and did not push out and destroy all the evil among them, Believers of the Kingdom of Heaven have failed to push/cast out all the evil among them. We are to prepare the Way before the LORD our GOD and King. When do we plan to start? We are talking about the eternal lives of people. A 2.5% victory is not a victory.
These are important verses to remember and also show the will of the LORD.
“Bless/Kneel my living-flesh/soul (to) [Aleph-Tav] the-LORD/YEHOVAH and do not forget all HIS dealings/benefits/treatments/rewards: the forgiving/pardoning to/for all your iniquity/guilt/punishment-for-iniquity/perversity/evil; the healing/making-whole/curing to/for all your diseases/sicknesses; the redeeming from the-pit/destruction/corruption/the-grave your life; lovingkindness/goodness/kindness/beauty and compassion/tender-mercies/tender-love from the surrounding/encircling/crowning you; the filling/satisfying in/with/by (the) good/pleasant/agreeable your adornment/ornament, you will renew/repair/rebuild yourself (to) your youth like/as (the) eagle/vulture. The-LORD/YEHOVAH doing/making righteousness and judgment/justice to/for/onto all (the) oppressed/wronged/defrauded/violated.” (Psm 103:2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
“(HIM) not doing to/for/onto us like/as our sins/crimes/offenses/faults and not dealt/treated upon us like/as our iniquity/guilt/punishment-for-iniquity/perversity/evil.” (Psm 103:10)
Truly/surely our sickness/disease/anxiety/calamity/grief HE lifted/carried/took-up, and our pain/anguish/grief/affliction/sorrow HE carried/bore; and we thought/regarded/devised/considered (HIM) struck/beat/punished/defeated/destroyed and afflicted/bowed-down from being punished/struck/killed/slaughtered (by) GOD. And, HE from piercing/bored-throughing/slaying/profaning from our transgressions/sins/revolts/rebellions, from crushing/bruising/beating-to-pieces from our iniquities/guilt/sins/punishments/perversity/evils, from disciplining/chastening/correcting/rebuking (for) our peace/shalom (was) upon HIM; and, by/in HIS stripes/bruises/blows/scourging for us, we will be healed/made-whole. All of us like sheep/a-flock have wandered/erred/went-astray, (each) man have turned to his own way/road/journey; and the-LORD/YEHOVAH has struck/cause-to-fall in/on HIM [Aleph-Tav] all our iniquity/guilt/punishment.
Isa 53:4, 5, 6
If we believe YESHUA has died for every one of our sins (past, present, and future) by these verses, then YESHUA has also died for every sickness, disease, anxiety, calamity, grief, pain, anguish, affliction, and sorrow for our peace and to have already made us healed and whole (past, present, and future) by these verses.
Mt 8:16, 17: 16 When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick/diseased, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
In Mt 8:16, 17, we have YESHUA stating the verse of Isa 53:4 is about a physical healing and is being fulfilled when YESHUA cast out demons and healed the sick/diseased.
1 Pet 2:24 states: “24 HE HIMSELF bore our sins in HIS body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.” Even later the Disciples are stating the same thing.
So, why are people including Believers not seeing 100% healing 100% of the time of anything?
There is a Believer delivering 100% healing from the LORD and teaching any Believer how to deliver healing by and through the LORD to 100% of anyone needing healing with 100% results regardless of sin, sickness, disease, or even death.
Regardless of what all his beliefs are, this shows the Believers in the Church can and should be healing anyone of anything just as the Bible/Scripture states a Believer can.
Much of this teaching for this article comes out of listening to 45+ hours of video teaching from Curry Blake at John G Lake Ministries. All the material for this article is being referenced with the Bible, but Curry Blake’s teaching is the reference material for this entire article. We understand this is a controversial subject, and we actually do not agree with all the teaching in the video series found HERE. There is no perfect teacher except for the LORD. There are statements stated in this video series that are true and not backed up by Scripture, and there are a few false statements. You can go to this LINK to see where we stand on this video series according to Scripture. His ministry has seen 9 raised from the dead including his own daughter who fell from a window of a 2-3 (can’t remember the exact height) story home and hit her head on the concrete. People have had healing delivered to their backs even after they had back surgery and the metal rods disappeared or the screws and hardware came out of their bodies. People healed of down syndrome have had their bodies healed down to the cellular level and their bone structure changed so they are completely normal. People without body parts are growing them back. A person was shot in the back next to the backbone with the bullet lodged in the body; with prayer/commanding the bullet came out, and the wound healed.
Even after you watch the video series and start to put it into practice, you may notice only slight healing here and there. Another Believer and I both did what Curry taught and only saw a slight increase in healing. Below, is why I believe that happened and how to bring seeing the fruit of healing up to 100% for everyone. The teaching is only slightly changed. It has been explained more for beginners. Also, below is where you will find how to start operating in any of the gifts of the SPIRIT.
The Teaching
There are only two things mentioned in the Bible/Scripture that keep a healing from happening:
unbelief/little-faith (same event: Mt 17:20; Mrk 9:19, 23; Luk 9:41)
and Mark 7:11, 12, 13 states: 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,” ’ ” that is to say, given to GOD, 12 “then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother, 13 making void the Word of GOD by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
Acts 3:16 shows it is “By faith in HIS name, HIS name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through HIM has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
As a Believer, you know you have been saved through your faith in YESHUA (Eph 2:8). How much faith did it take, a little or a lot? How much faith does not matter, just that you have faith. What heals a person is the power of LORD by the SPIRIT and the faith of a person in the name of YESHUA/JESUS, as Acts 3:16 states. So, it only takes one person’s faith in the name of YESHUA/JESUS to heal any person of anything. How much faith? The same amount as it takes a Believer to become saved. It does not matter on the amount of faith, just that someone has faith. But, YESHUA kept saying your faith has healed you. Doesn’t that mean the person being healed has to have faith? YESHUA healed everyone/all, do you think they all had faith? YESHUA had faith for everyone even if they did not have faith. YESHUA just pointed out when it was a person’s faith in HIM (rather than YESHUA’s own faith) that brought healing to a person. Every Believer already has faith in the name of YESHUA/JESUS or they are not Believers. So, every Believer has enough faith to heal anyone of anything.
Now, the second reason people are not healed is by “making void the Word of GOD by your beliefs-in-action/tradition” (Mrk 7:13). Notice the Word of GOD is made void/made-to-no-effect/canceled (G208) by tradition/false-beliefs. This means the false traditions/teachings of the church against the Word/Scripture that a Believer believes can make the Word of GOD powerless in that Believer. Since the Word of GOD became flesh (Jhn 1:1, 14), false traditions can make YESHUA and HIS name powerless in a Believer.
So, we need to get rid of the false traditions if we want to be healed and see people healed.
We run into another controversial subject when talking about healing or the Gift of the SPIRIT. This subject is important if a Believer wants to walk closer to the LORD and work with the LORD in accomplishing HIS perfect will.

The above article with references is only separating the Baptism of the SPIRIT from the Filling of the SPIRIT. They are 2 different events that sometimes (like in Acts 2) happen at the same time. The Baptism of the SPIRIT only happens once, and the Filling of the SPIRIT happens multiple times and should occur daily (Eph 5:18). That is where the article above stops. The Baptism of the SPIRIT is a gift that cannot be earned and is given to every Believer when they become a Believer (Acts 2:38). The LORD the FATHER gives this gift of the LORD the SPIRIT, called the “Promise of the FATHER,” to each Believer/the-Church/the-Bride (Jhn 15:26; Luk 24:49; Acts 2:33; Gal 3:14). The Gift of the SPIRIT seals the marriage between the LORD and the Believer and cannot be revoked/taken-back because it is a gift (Acts 10:45; Heb 6:4; Eph 1:13, 14; Rom 11:29). At this point, the spirit of the Believer is made clean/holy, and the Believer is born again a new creation/divine-creature (Jhn 3:6; Rom 8:9, 10, 11; 2 Cor 5:17). So, this Baptism of the SPIRIT is baptizing/cleaning the spirit of the Believer. The body/flesh of a Believer still remains unclean/unholy until they get a new body, which is why a Believer can still get sick and die at this time (Gal 5:16, 17). Believers have GOD the SPIRIT and all HIS blessings within themselves (Eph 1:3). This means all the Gifts of the SPIRIT that are given by the one SPIRIT are already in the Believer whether they desire them or walk in them as the LORD wills (Heb 2:4; 1 Cor 12:1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11; 14:1). This Baptism of the SPIRIT that is sometime called justification is like when Yisra’el/Israel was raised up out of Mitzrayim/Egypt from out of the sea to be a Kingdom of Priests (Rom 4:23, 24, 25; 5:1, 2; Ex 14:29, 30; 19:5, 6). Then, the Sons of Yisra’el/Israel received gifts of meat/quail, mân/manna, and flowing “living water” from a rock as they were going to Mount Sinay (Sinai) (Ex 16:13, 14, 15, 21, 31; 17:6). Mân/manna is the Bread of Heaven that represents YESHUA, the Word made flesh that a Believer partakes-of (Jhn 1:1, 14; 6:31, 35, 38, 41, 51, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58; Rom 6:3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). The gift of the “living water” represents the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT (Jhn 4:10, 14; 7:38, 39). Then, when the Sons of Yisra’el/Israel stood before Mount Sinay/Sinai, the LORD gave HIS marriage proposal to Yisra’el/Israel in Ex 19:3, 4, 5, 6 to be HIS possession, a Kingdom of Priests, and a Holy Nation. All of Yisra’el/Israel said “we do” to the proposal in Ex 19:8. When you have said “I do” to the LORD YESHUA’s marriage proposal of HIM being your HUSBAND, you are betrothed/married. YESHUA states HE is the Bridegroom in Matthew 9:15, Mark 2:19, and Luke 5:34, 35, with John confirming this in John 3:29. YESHUA left HIS FATHER and the SPIRIT and joined as one with the Church, HIS Bride, just as it is written of marriage in Genesis 2:24, “… a man will forsake/leave his father and his mother and cling/cleave/be-joined with his wife, and they shall be to (the) flesh/body one.”. Isaiah 54:5, Isaiah 62:5, John 3:29, Revelation 19:7, 8, Revelation 21:7, 8, 9; 2 Corinthians 11:2, and Ephesians 5:31, 32 all state the Church/Body-of-YESHUA is the Bride betrothed/married to YESHUA. YESHUA is a Jew of royalty from the tribe of Yehudah (Judah), and in a Jewish betrothal the Groom and the Bride are legally married. So, the bride is also the wife, and the groom is also the husband. During the betrothal process the bride is given a gift called the “promise of the father” to show the son/groom/husband will come back for his bride/wife. This can be seen in the gifts given to Rivqah/Rebekah (Gen 24:22, 33, 47, 48, 50, 51, 53). (The article on the Jewish marriage steps as seen in the Scripture is close to being done. Now, what about the Filling of the SPIRIT? If a Believer already has GOD in them, how can they have more of GOD in them to have the fullness of GOD (Eph 3:19; 5:19)? John said in Jhn 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” How does a Believer decrease? By walking in and by the SPIRIT to crucify and decrease the flesh which is called sanctification (Rom 8:4; Gal 5:16, 24; 1 Th 4:3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). John also said YESHUA would baptize with the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire (Mt 3:11, 12; Luk 3:16, 17). There are 2 interpretations of these verses which many will argue about. But, when there are 2 interpretations, there are 3 possible realities: both are wrong, one is right & one is wrong, or both are right. There are many times when both views are correct, and this is the case for these verses. The 1st view is the Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT is for the Believer and the Baptism of Fire is referring to when an unbeliever is thrown into the Lake of Burning Fire and Sulfur called the 2nd Death or the Final Hell (Rev 20:14, 15; 21:8). The 2nd view is the Baptism of Fire is also for the Believer. How can that be? Remember the Believer’s flesh/body is unclean and can become cleaner by refining them through fire as silver and gold are refined to be purified. The LORD said HE would do this in Mal 3:2, 3 & Zech 13:9. The chaff is the unclean flesh that is burned while the wheat is the clean flesh that is harvested, just as YESHUA will harvest the bodies of Believers when HE comes back for HIS Bride/the-Church during what is usually called the Rapture. So, the Filling by and of the SPIRIT cleanses the flesh/body by the Fire of the LORD the SPIRIT. As the spirit of the Believer is already baptized and clean, this Baptism of Fire is baptizing/cleaning the flesh of the Believer. As this Fire cleans the flesh when a Believer walks in and by the SPIRIT, the LORD the SPIRIT will show up more. The spirit cannot be seen, but the works of our body can be seen and felt. This Baptism of Fire that starts the Filling of the SPIRIT is passed from one Believer to another Believer by the laying on of hands (2 Tim 1:6; Acts 8:17; 19:6 and so on). This event is called the “Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT” by the Pentecostal Church. This has created some confusion and division in the Church/Body-of-YESHUA. So, this Baptism of Fire is decreasing the flesh of the Believer, and a Believer will many times say they felt the “Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT” (AKA Baptism of Fire) as a burning sensation. Then the LORD can be heard and seen working in the body/flesh of a Believer by the Gifts of the SPIRIT that the Believer already had when they became a Believer (Acts 2:33, 38). Most of the time this Fire is passed from a Believer with the Fire laying their hands on a Believer without the Fire, like a piece of paper on fire is held against another piece of paper in order to catch it on fire. But, the Baptism of Fire can be given to Believers by the LORD without the laying on of hands as in Acts 10:44, 45.
What does all that have to do with healing? A new Believer can bring the LORD’s healing to the sick (as will be explained below), but the speed at which the fruit of the healing is seen will be greater once the Believer has been baptized with the Fire of the SPIRIT.
Can I get paid to heal someone? Mrk 6:8, 9 states, “8 He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse, 9 but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.” How do you collect money if you are not to carry it? In 2 Kings chapter 5, Na’aman was healed of leprosy by ‘Elisha’ who took no payment for the healing (2 Kgs 5:16). Then, the servant of ‘Elisha’ asked for money for the healing and received Na’aman’s leprosy (2 Kgs 5:20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27). YESHUA’s stripes fully paid the price for any healing and made any healing a gift for free. If you receive money for healing, you are getting paid for YESHUA’s whipping, lashes, and stripes. And, you are making what HE suffered for and paid in full cost money. Acts 8:20 states, “… May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of GOD with money!”
Getting healed has nothing to do with any person’s sins as YESHUA and the disciples healed everyone who came to them wanting healed (Mt 4:23; 8:16; 9:35; 10:1; Luk 4:40; 6:19; Acts 5:16; 10:38). And, a person getting healed has nothing to do with the person’s sin who is giving the healing or Judas would not have been able to heal anyone, and the other disciples would have known who it was that was to betray YESHUA. GOD is the one healing through the SPIRIT, not the person whom the SPIRIT is working through.
Generational curses:
Ex 20:5, 6 states, “5 you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your GOD, am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate ME, 6 and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love ME and keep MY commandments.”
Notice there is a qualification of “those who hate ME” for the “visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation.” A Believer falls into the camp of “those who love ME and keep MY commandments” which has the blessing of “showing loving kindness to thousands of” generations, which would override any past a Believer has. Ezk 18:20 states, “20 The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.” The whole chapter of Ezekiel 18 reinforces this statement. Jer 31:29, 30, 31, 32, 33 is in agreement and is directed at the time of the New Covenant stating, “29 In those days they will say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ 30 But everyone will die for his own iniquity. Every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge. 31 “Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant of MINE they broke, although I was a husband to them,” says the LORD. 33 “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the LORD: “I will put MY Law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart/mind. I will be their GOD, and they shall be MY people.” Notice, the New Covenant is the same covenant of the LORD (that was written on stone) being placed/written in the hearts/minds of Believers. Does that mean a Believer is under the Law? No (Rom 6:14, 15). To be under the Law is to want to do evil and not do the evil because the Law states you should not do the evil. A Believer loves the LORD WHO is holy and delights in the holy Word/Law and wants to do good and be holy out of love for the LORD, just as a son wants to please his dad that he loves (Jhn 14:15, 21; Ex 20:6; Dt 5:10).

You will notice as you read about David, and many others, that even after he or they have asked for forgiveness, there are consequences. There is a difference between judgment/punishment, consequences, and discipline. Discipline is to help the Believer who is in sin (Heb 12:5, 6, 7, 8; Pro 3:11, 12). Judgment/punishment is to pay the debt owed to the one sinned against (past tense). And, consequences are the naturally occurring results of actions (present and future tense). If I hit someone, I may be judged & punished by the law with a fine that I have to pay to the law and the person I hit. My family may discipline me in some way to help me overcome sinning in the same way again. And, the fact that my hand hurts, the other guy’s head hurts, and I am feeling the darkness of the situation are all consequences of the action. The discipline, judgement, punishment, and consequences all fall on the one who sins, while the consequences also fall upon those who did not sin. This helps us to understand why the verses of Ex 20:5; 34:7; Num 14:18; Dt 23:2 speaking of consequences of sin coming upon the children of the sinner seem to conflict with Ezk 18:20 speaking of the punishment of sin is only given to the sinner and not their children. With this view in mind, it is good for those who didn’t sin, but who the consequences have fallen upon, to pray to the LORD for the one who sinned and also ask for help to get out of the consequences of their sin (Num 14:19; Dan 9:16, 17, 18, 19, 20).
Once you acknowledge your sin, repent, no longer want to do the sin, and ask for forgiveness, there is still a day, week, 2 weeks, 40 days (7+33; Lev 12:2, 3, 4), & 80 days of purification from the death of sin. You don’t start from where you left off before sinning, more like trying to get the ball moving in the right direction again. After being in contact with death & disease there is a day, week, 2 weeks, 40 days, & 80 days of uncleanness before a sacrifice can even be made to make a person clean and able to enter into the camp before the LORD (Num 19:14, 15; Lev 11:24, 25, 27; 12:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8; 13:5, 6; 15:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33). YESHUA is our Sacrifice, but there are still the consequences of being in contact with the death that the sin brought. I have noticed after the 1st day the heaviness decreases, maybe by half. After 1 week the heaviness seems to decrease by another half, and so on. After 40 days, the relationship with the LORD seems to be close to where it was before. I always forget to check to see if there seems to be a difference after 80 days. A woman was unclean for 40 days after having a male child and 80 days after having a female child (Lev 12:2, 3, 4, 5). Some of you may be saying we didn’t have a child? “No-one being tempted/tested/enticed say, ‘I am being tempted/tested/enticed because-of/by GOD; for GOD is unable-to-be-tempted by-evils, and HIMSELF tempts/tests/entices no one; however everyone is tempted/tested/enticed by their own desire/lust/passion, being drawn-away/enticed and allured/entrapped/enticed; then, having conceived desire/lust/passion, sin/missing-the-mark/failure is brought-forth/born; and sin/missing-the-mark/failure accomplished/completed/fully-grown brings-forth physical-Death/spiritual-Death” (Jam 1:13, 14, 15). That sure sounds like desire is conceived, sin born, and Death grown. The whole point here is how long it takes to recover from one sin. Is the temporary high from one sin worth it? Absolutely NOT in any way. I have also noticed after a sin, the day, week, 2 weeks, 40 days, and 80 days seem to be when I am tested by the enemy to see if I will sin again in the same way. This kind of makes sense in the light of that in the Old Testament we would have had to prepare our sacrifice at these times, there would be an acknowledgment of the past sin and an effort to move away from that sin on the sinner’s part.
Since YESHUA died for our punishment on the Cross and by HIS stripes (HE received from the whipping) we are healed of the consequences of the curse of sickness and death from sin, is the teaching above between the blue lines void? Yes and no. Let us say a Believer gets dunk and drives and wrecks into someone and kills them and loses their arm. Now the Believer is spiritually clean even before they ask for forgiveness, but their relationship is such that they are pushing GOD away until they repent (don’t want to do the sin) and ask forgiveness. The LORD has already suffered for the Believer’s arm to be healed and the person they killed to be healed and be brought back to life. If the Believer raises the dead person to life and heals them, the unbeliever might even become a Believer (the LORD making good come out of the bad). The insurance might or might not pay for better vehicles, but there is a loss of time without a vehicle, though the LORD can redeem the time (Joel 2:25). But, the damaged laptop in the passenger seat with all its work on it is probably scrapped. The LORD’s discipline in this case might include the Believer standing before a judge to lose their license, do community service, and pay a fine. And, the relationship between the Believer and the LORD is not the same as it would be if the Believer was walking in the SPIRIT and not getting drunk (Eph 5:18). So, there are still consequences and discipline for sin.
But, if a Believer believes in generational curses, then they just made ‘void the Word of GOD by their beliefs-in-action/tradition.’ This means generational curses will be true for the Believer until they align their mind with the truth of the Scripture, and they will not be delivering the 100% healing to a 100% of everyone with anything.
James states faith without works is dead (James 2:17, 26). When a Believer is saved by faith, in faith they state YESHUA/JESUS is their resurrected GOD WHO died for their sins and the curse of their sins (Rom 10:9). Faith is not just in the mind, but faith is the doing of what is believed. A Believer believes in YESHUA and so states with their mouth in action what they believe. “… they will lay/place hands upon/on/against (the) sick/sickly/feeble/infirm/physically-weak/mentally-weak/ill and they will have/possess wellness/recovery” (Mrk 16:18). When a Believer believes this verse, they in action bring their hand upon the sick to bring the healing power of the SPIRIT to the person to be healed. Do not lay your hands on someone without their permission. There is no verse where hands were forced upon a person without their consent. There are all kinds of ways to bring healing to the sick, use a different way if a person does not want your hands touching them.
Since it is only faith in the name of YESHUA that brings about healing, the person can continue to take medicine, see a doctor, go to surgery, and whatever they think they need. The fruit of the healing will happen regardless. Now, once they are fully healed, the medicine may start to poison them, and they will be going through surgery for no reason. Curry talks about a woman getting healed of diabetes and went to the hospital, because she took her insulin when she no longer needed it. So, it does help if the person believes they were healed, so they don’t have to suffer for no reason. But, their unbelief is not going to change whether or not they are healed.
YESHUA “… has been given all authority in/on/with Heaven and upon/on/against Earth/earth” (Mt 28:18). Every Believer is an ambassador for YESHUA and HIS Kingdom (2 Cor 5:20). Then, YESHUA tells his ambassadors, who are sons and daughters of the Family/Kingdom of GOD, to go proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom to all the Earth everywhere with signs of this Kingdom of Heaven and make more disciples/ambassadors (Mt 28:18, 19, 20; Mrk 16:15, 16, 17, 18, 20; Gal 4:4, 5, 6, 7; 2 Cor 6:18). Believers as ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD then operate in the power of the SPIRIT by faith in the name of YESHUA/JESUS to have power over all the enemy and over all the curses of sin, that includes every sickness and disease and even death, without having fear because nothing can overcome/injure/harm them (Heb 2:14; Luk 9:1; 10:19; 1 Jhn 4:4; 2 Tim 1:7; 1 Tim 2:1, 2, 3; Isa 54:17). Judgement is not upon the enemy later but now, and it is the job of the ambassadors to cast out the enemy and bring Heaven on Earth just as the LORD’s prayer states (Jhn 12:31; Mt 6:10; Luk 11:2). Romans 12:20, 21 states, “Therefore ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ 21 Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil/bad/anything-worthless with good.” A believer is commanded to “overcome evil with good.” Believers are like police officers for the LORD bringing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Any time a Believer sees or hears evil, sin, sickness, death, and the enemy, he or she is to spiritually overcome it, as everywhere a Believer walks/dwells belongs to the LORD and is under HIS authority. A non-believer still has rights though that are covered in the Rulership article. Believers are to be like the good Samaritan and do any good they can do in the physical realm like heal the sick or help change a tire (Luk 10:27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36). Any Believer can do anything YESHUA/JESUS did or anything that was done in the Old Testament time period and even more than these things (Jhn 14:12, 13, 14, 15; Mt 11:11; Luk 7:28). So, does that mean a Believer can raise a person from the dead? Yes, and there are Believers doing just that (I know of four, and one of them I have met with and received their testimony in person). But, I thought we had to die? Was there anyone who didn’t die in the Old Testament? Yes, then no we don’t have to die a physical death (Gen 5:24; 2 Kgs 2:11, 12). A Believer already died in YESHUA’s death and was born a new divine creature. The question is why Believers, who are greater than anyone in the Old Testament time period, are not living at least as long as Methushelach/Methuselah, who lived to be 969 years old (Gen 5:27)? And, why does Yesha’yahu/Isaiah say in Isa 65:22 that the LORD’s people in the future will live as long as trees? What if Believers finally believe they don’t have to die under the curse that they are no longer under because YESHUA already died on the Cross for that curse, and Believers walk with the LORD more closely than they ever have and then are no more like Chanok/Enoch and that is the rapture when YESHUA comes for HIS Bride/the-Church?
Since a Believer has already been given authority to heal the sick and raise the dead in the name of YESHUA/JESUS, a Believer does not ask the LORD to do it. HE gave the Believer as an ambassador of HIS Kingdom the power and authority in HIS name to carry out the job (Mt 10:8). If you were trained in the military, once you are given an order to do something, do you call up the President and ask him to do your job? No. Why are Believers doing this? Every verse where someone is healed, the person healing never ask GOD to do the healing. They command the enemy to leave and not come back and command the healing to occur in the name of YESHUA (in the authority of YESHUA WHOSE Kingdom they represent). Do you tell the President you don’t know how, you’re not equipped, your afraid, you don’t want to? I hope not. If HE is patient and merciful like our LORD, then he might say didn’t you read the mission manual (code for Bible), all the tools and equipment and how to use them is in the manual. As far as being afraid? The LORD even has your back on this matter. HIS manual, the Bible, states in Mt 28:20, “… Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not depart/be-dismayed, for I am your GOD, I strengthen/give-courage-to you; also, I help/aid/protect you; also, I sustain/support you with MY righteous right hand” (Isa 41:10). ”Be strong and courageous/bold/strengthened, and do (your calling); do not fear nor be shattered/dismayed/broken-down/beat-down/discouraged, for the-LORD/YEHOVAH GOD, my GOD, (is) with you; HE will not leave/fail you nor forsake/leave/refuse you as-far-as/even-till you finished/accomplished all (the) work (of) service/labor (of/for the) House/Family (of) the-LORD/YEHOVAH” (1 Chr 28:20b). Psm 91:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 states, “1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the ALMIGHTY. 2 I will say of the LORD, ‘HE is my refuge and my fortress; my GOD, in WHOM I trust.’ 3 For HE will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. 4 HE will cover you with HIS feathers. Under HIS wings you will take refuge. HIS faithfulness is your shield and rampart. YOU/you will/shall not be afraid of/from (the) dread/terror of night, of/from (the) arrow that will fly daily/(at)-daytime; (Nor) of/from (the) pestilence/plague that will come/walk in/by darkness/gloom/obscurity, of/from (the) destruction/ruin/destroying that will devastate/lay-waste (at) middays/noon-times. A thousand will/may fall from YOUR/your side and ten thousand from near YOUR/your right hand, it will not come/approach/draw-near (YOU/you). Only with/by YOUR/your eyes YOU/you will behold/look and YOU/you will see (the) wicked’s/criminals’/ungodly’s/condemned’s retribution/reward. Because, YOU the-LORD/YEHOVAH, my refuge/trust/shelter, (the) Most-High/Supreme have placed/set YOUR dwelling-place/habitation. No evil/bad/affliction/adversity/calamity will befall/approach YOU/you and no plague/stroke/blow/wound/mark will come-near/approach by YOUR/your tent. 11 For HE will put HIS angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. 12 They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. 14 “Because HE/he has set HIS/his love on me/ME, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him/HIM on high, because HE/he has known my/MY name. 15 He will call on ME, and I will answer him. I will be with him/HIM in trouble. I will deliver/arm him, and honor him. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him MY Salvation/YESHUA.” “’Every article/utensil/weapon/apparatus/vessel formed/fashioned against you will not prosper/be-successful/be-profitable/come-mightily; and, every tongue/speech arising/standing-up against you for/onto judgment, you will condemn/disturb/trouble/declare-wrong; this (is the) heritage/possession/inheritance of (the) bond-servants/slaves (of) the-LORD/YEHOVAH, and their righteousness/virtue/justice/prosperity (is) from ME,’ declares/says the-LORD/YEHOVAH” (Isa 54:17). And, Luk 10:19 states, “19 Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.”
So, no need to be afraid, the whole Kingdom is backing you up, and you are a new divine-creature that is promised a very different set of rules than the natural rules that are for the world. A Believer just needs faith in YESHUA that HE is telling you the truth and to claim and know that the promises YESHUA has given are true. Like an ambassador yells out his credentials so no one harms him, stand, move forward, and verbally quote the Word and the credentials YESHUA has given you. As far as if you don’t want to, I’ll leave that between you and the LORD.
How do you bring/deliver the power of the SPIRIT to a person for that person to be healed of anything?
Do anything YESHUA or the first disciples did.
Lay hands on a person (Mrk 16:18). It does not matter where you lay hands on the sick, so be respectful. You do not have to lay hands on the injury. You do not even need to say anything, because it says just to lay hands on the sick and they will recover/be-restored (Jam 5:14, 15, 16).
We learn from the centurion of great faith that we only need to “say the word” and the person or people will be healed (Mt 8:8). If you say specific things, only the specific thing will be healed. If you cast out a specific enemy and tell them never to come back, then only the specific enemy will leave. The others will either show up and try to make it look like you did nothing, or they will hide like cockroaches till you leave. So, be very general and then be specific if you need to. We are setting the captives free, so you can say, “Be Free, Be Healed in the name of YESHUA/JESUS.” The “Be Free” part is getting rid of all the enemies keeping the person in bondage. Also to include all the enemies trying to hold the healing back, you can say, “Anything trying to hold the healing back be gone and never come back in the name of YESHUA/JESUS.” There are many different ways to say this. You are working with the LORD in a relationship. HE is there as the Helper (Jhn 14:26). The LORD will also give a Believer words to say, so listen for that voice in your head that sounds like when your thinking in your head but is words you were not thinking (Luk 12:11, 12). Of course, only say the words if they are good/Biblical, because the enemy can place thoughts in your mind that are evil called temptation (Jhn 13:2). Mrk 11:22, 23, 24 states, “22 YESHUA/JESUS answered them, “Have faith in GOD. 23 For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.” So, the enemy could put the thought in your head of “you are doubting.” Then, you, thinking you have doubted, will not do anything. Except, doubt [G1252] in Greek is an action of “withdrawing,” not just a thought. So, the enemy tempted you to think you had doubt and (if you believe it) you stopped your action of healing and (now in action) have real doubt. Be sure to teach the person, you just cast the enemy out of, they are healed and good for now, but if they do not become a Believer and become filled with the LORD/SPIRIT, the enemy will bring 7 more of the enemy to make their situation even worse than they were before (Mt 12:43, 44, 45; Luk 11:24, 25, 26).
This next part is a really big deal. You don’t have to use the name of YESHUA/JESUS, and they will still be healed as shown when Paul told a man to stand without using the name of YESHUA (Acts 14:10). But, also notice Paul and Barnabas were called gods in this situation, and the people wanted to offer sacrifices to them (Acts 14:11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19). What a Believer does should reflect and represent YESHUA. It is not all about healing. It is about eternal life in Heaven with the LORD or eternal life in Hell without the blessings of the LORD. Healing is about showing people their gods are not gods and WHO the true GOD really is and that HE can save them even though nobody deserves being saved. It is about making disciples of YESHUA/JESUS. Mt 7:12 states, “12 Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” So, doesn’t that mean I should heal everyone even if they don’t know where the healing is coming from, because I would want to be healed? Let us ask the question differently. If you are believing in a false god with no power and someone comes along and heals your children without telling you, then who or what are you going to believe healed your children? The false god. Now, it appears as though the false god has power and is a real god. You will then teach your children this false god has true power. When a Believer comes around even with the power of the true GOD to heal and deliver a message of salvation in YESHUA, you will think your false god has the same power. Is this love? Is it loving to cause someone to put faith in a false god that could result in them and their children going to Hell/the-Lake-of-Burning-Fire-and-Sulfur? Remember, healing is for a sign that the Good News of YESHUA is true.
What is going on with all the people in Mt 9:20, 21, 22; 14:35, 36; Mrk 6:56 touching the fringe of YESHUA’s cloak and getting healed? The Greek word translated fringe [G2899] is a word that means tassel or fringe and is related to the Hebrew word tzitzit [H6734]. The Greek word cloak [G2440] is a robe that is a 4 cornered garment (like a blanket worn as a robe). In the front of the Bible, the LORD said, “Speak to the Sons/Children of Yisra’el/Israel, and tell them to make for themselves tzitzit/locks-of-hair/blossoms/wings/tassels upon the wings/flaps/corners (of) their coverings/garments/clothes throughout their generations, and to put upon the tzitzit/tassels (of) the corners/flaps/wings a tekheleth-wool/blue-wool cord/thread/string” (Num 15:38). And, the Scripture states, “You will make for yourself tzitzit/locks-of-hair/blossoms/wings/tassels upon (the) four corners (of) your covering that/which you will cover with” (Dt 22:12). The tzitzit/tassels are attached to each of the 4 corners of the covering garment worn by the Sons of Yisra’el/Israel, which includes YESHUA. Notice both the tzitzit and the corner are called wings. How did the woman know the tzitzit would bring her healing? Mal 4:2 states, “2 But, to you who fear MY name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings/corners/flaps.” By this verse the woman knew YESHUA was the SON of Righteousness with healing in HIS tzitzit/corners, and so she was healed. The Tzitzit article gives the full representation of how the tzitzit represents YESHUA the Word, WHO was crushed as a worm for our sins through the 4 piercings of HIS hands and feet upon the Cross to cleanse us and provide a place in HIS Kingdom as part of HIS Family. So, this is an item that can be used to heal anyone of anything.
A cloth that touches the skin of a Believer who is healing with the SPIRIT, can be used to heal any disease/sickness and cast out any enemy as shown in Acts 19:11, 12.
Something else that represents YESHUA’s stripes and HIM dying for our sins on the Cross is Communion. The symbolism of the bread that represents YESHUA’s body can be found HERE (outside website, good article). The bread is called matzah and has piercings set in rows to represent HIS piercings and the stripes by which we are healed (Isa 53:5). The symbolism of the wine that represents YESHUA’s blood can be found HERE (same website). 1 Cor 11:23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34 states, “23 For I received from the LORD that which also I delivered to you, that the LORD YESHUA on the night in which HE was betrayed took bread. 24 When HE had given thanks, HE broke it and said, “Take, eat. This is MY body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of ME.” 25 In the same way HE also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant in MY blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of ME.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the LORD’s death until HE comes. 27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the LORD’s cup in a way unworthy of the LORD will be guilty of the body and the blood of the LORD. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the LORD’s body. 30 Because of this, many among you are weak and sick, and many have fallen asleep/died. 31 For, if we discerned/judged ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the LORD, that we may not be condemned with the world. 33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that you might not come together into judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.” Curry brings a different twist to interpreting these verses with examples of people healed in his older videos. The whole “by HIS stripes we are healed” is represented in the Communion and brings healing to those who partake of the bread and the wine in a worthy manor by examining themselves, repenting of sins brought to their mind by the LORD, and eating and drinking the bread and the wine knowing they represent YESHUA’s body sacrificed for all our sins, HIS blood poured out for us to be cleansed and have a covenant relationship with HIM, and HE bore all our sicknesses and diseases through HIS stripes. The Believers in the above verses were already sick and dying and not receiving healing because they were just eating and drinking the Communion like regular food. If they had been treating the Communion correctly, they would have been healed of their sickness and diseases. This healing by HIS stripes represented in the Communion is mostly not taught in the Church; and so, the healing the LORD offers in the Communion is not believed or received. This is another “voiding the Word of GOD by your beliefs-in-action/tradition.”
On a side note, 1 Tim 5:23 seems to be speaking of wine as YESHUA was speaking of wine in Mt 9:17, since 1 Tim 5:23 is in middle of a conversation about not giving responsibility to Believers who may be in sin. But, overseers like Timothy were told not to drink much wine (1 Tim 3:1, 2, 3, 8). So, the little wine could also be referring to the wine of Communion (1 Tim 5:23).
So, now you have watched the videos and read the material above and read through the Scriptures and went out and commanded demons out and commanded healing and well maybe you only see a little bit happening. If your like me, I want everything to match up to Scripture 100% immediately like YESHUA did it. So, why is that not happening. You ever notice a lot of a Believer’s life is compared to a farmer. Take Mt 13:44 for instance, “44 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” The man now has the Kingdom of Heaven and a field. What is the man supposed to do with the field? Be a farmer. What does a farmer do? Well this one doesn’t have any money to raise animals. He needs to find some free seed and plant it. Wait a minute? Mt 13:31 states, “31 HE set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches” [ref]. So, by buying the Kingdom of Heaven the man has a little mustard seed to plant in his field. He better get started planting that mustard seed, because it will take 85 to 95 days after he has planted it to get more mustard seeds [ref]. Good thing he doesn’t have to worry about food or clothing, because he got married to the LORD, and it is the husband’s duty to provide food and clothing (Mt 6:25; Ex 21:10). And, this man doesn’t even need to plant the seed, because YESHUA is the one WHO sows the seed according to Mt 13:37. Well that might not be quite true, because YESHUA has these ambassadors that operate under HIS Name. So, the ambassadors plant the seeds in the field in YESHUA’s name. And, YESHUA said the field was the people in the world (Mt 13:38), and Believers are the seeds (Mt 13:38). So, somehow a Believer acting as an ambassador of YESHUA has to plant himself/herself in another person of the world. That might be really hard, except YESHUA also states in Mt 17:20, “… For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” So, now faith is like a mustard seed. The faith (in the name of YESHUA) of a Believer/Ambassador can be planted in a person of the world. So, every time a Believer in faith believes the Word and in faith in the name of YESHUA cast out a demon for someone to be freed or commands a healing in the name of YESHUA, a seed of faith in the name of YESHUA is planted in that someone of the world. A normal mustard seed takes about 100 days before you see the fruit. The only time a physical seed grew and produced fruit immediately in the Bible was on the Third Day of Creation (Gen 1:11, 12, 13). A miracle is needed to make the seed grow faster. So, unless the ambassador works miracles in the name of YESHUA (which is a gift of the SPIRIT, see Link), the seed the ambassador planted is going to take time to grow, and it will be a little while before they see the fruit of the healing.
So, all that to say Believers are farmers. For healing, a Believer is planting a seed of healing. If you want to see the fruit of the healing faster, plant more seeds. You can command healing and freedom as many times as you want in different ways if you want. Just don’t kill the seeds by saying there is no healing taking place (making void the Word of God by your belief). Every seed of healing is growing and will heal and accomplish the healing (Isa 55:11). If you want all the seeds you have planted in a person to grow faster, speak the true of the Word to them (like by HIS stripes we are healed). This is also why a healing is faster with a group of people commanding healing. More seeds are being planted at once and you have the added promise of the LORD to be there to work in a greater way than if there is only 1 Believer (Mt 18:19, 20). A Believer can plant a seed of healing with and by the SPIRIT in faith in the name of YESHUA WHO already accomplished the work; and then, the Believer can also miraculously with and by the SPIRIT in faith in the name of YESHUA cause the seed of healing to grow and bring forth the fruit of healing immediately. Of course, when this happens, you are not thinking of this as two events, but just one event.
Also, a farmer/ambassador/Believer reaps what they sow (Job 4:8; Prv 22:8; Gal 6:7, 8). If you sow nothing, you will reap nothing. If you sow love, you will reap love. If you sow healing, you will reap healing.
What if you’re a nurse or doctor and have to do reports on the patient being prayed for? What you see is facts and can be reported without killing any seeds. The Scripture is truth. The truth is the person has already been healed by YESHUA’s stripes. The facts are where fruit of that healing is in that person. So, yes you can check to see if the facts are lining up with the truth as much as you want, and you will not be unbelieving the truth.
Another thing that slows the facts from lining up with the truth of the healing (you are not seeing the fruit of the healing as fast as you would like, for me that is immediately, just as YESHUA did it). Learning any new skill of anything takes a little time and patience before you can do it well. For a baby to walk, it takes 1 to 1.5 years. With spiritual gifts, time is not really the issue. Each person has a certain (natural) gift(s) the LORD gave them that they are good at, and it might not be healing. After a Believer receives the Baptism of Fire and is first filled with the SPIRIT, a Believer will notice a gift that is unexplainable in human terms. Many people seem to start with the gift of tongues. But, I know others who started with teaching or interpretation of tongues or dreams or others. The person who had the gift of teaching from birth might find that the teaching just comes out after being filled with the SPIRIT. But, all the gifts come from the same SPIRIT, WHO is the Gift already given to every believer as explained above. A Believer is to earnestly pursue love and be eager/jealous/zealous for spiritual gifts, because they are of and from the LORD (1 Cor 14:1). The LORD will not force a gift upon anyone. And, some spiritual gifts you may need to first grow into by increasing in the Fruit of the SPIRIT/character, especially love. It is like giving a nice expensive car as a gift to a toddler. The toddler owns the gift of the car, but it would be very dangerous to let them start driving it until they grow up and learned how to drive. There are a few ways I know of to learn a new gift.
This is the part where you need to ask GOD for wisdom, understanding, and knowledge of the gift you are eagerly desiring to use to minister to others in your walk with the LORD (Col 1:9, 10, 11, 12). This is a working relationship with our LORD and KING. HE is the ONE doing them through you. Jam 1:5, 6, 7, 8 states, “5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of GOD, WHO gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. 7 For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the LORD. 8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” All the wisdom/knowledge/understanding of the LORD is already in the Believer’s spirit by the SPIRIT, but not available for the mind and mouth to use. So, as we are walking with the LORD and asking for more wisdom/knowledge/understanding in different areas, we receive wisdom/knowledge/understanding in the areas we are growing in the LORD with. If we do not have, it is because we have not asked or are asking with the wrong motives (Jam 4:2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). Also, Mrk 16:17, 18 states any Believer can lay their hands on the sick for the sick to be healed, but there is also gifts of healing listed in 1 Cor 12:9, 28. Gifts is plural here and they have to be different than what every Believer can do in laying hands on the sick. These would be gifts of healing that need to be asked for from the LORD. You can also find someone else who can operate in the gift, ask them questions, and follow their Biblical example. You might have to weed out what is not Biblical, but listen to them, because they do have an understanding of the gift. This is how the disciples learned from YESHUA, by HIS example. The other way is to look up everything about the gift in the Scripture and ask the LORD a lot of questions. Then, since the SPIRIT gives all the gifts, think of the gift you are already familiar with, how the SPIRIT seems to just flow through you without you thinking about it. Then, practice doing that with a different gift. You may have to still ask another brother in CHRIST how to get started with that first part of when you take your first step in faith that the SPIRIT will just flow out of you in that gift. It is really just learning how to remove yourself from trying to control the gift to allowing the SPIRIT to flow out while you work with the SPIRIT. I do not suggest you practice a gift in the public, but practice with willing brothers and sisters in YESHUA/JESUS until you get the hang of the gift. What do I mean by practice? I mean when you first start commanding healing, it might take a day or 6 months to see the final fruit of the healing. Then, after awhile the time will be shorter until you can see the fruit of the healing immediately. Then you can go and use healing as a sign to the unbeliever knowing it will happen immediately. The healing that took 6 months is still a sign to the unbeliever, but 6 months had to be waited out before the sign occurred. If you can find an experienced person to walk with you as you are learning the new gift, then it will not matter if you are in the public or private setting, and you will learn the gift much faster. This is true of all the gifts of the SPIRIT, because they are all from the same SPIRIT. As a Believer grows in their relationship with the LORD and in walking with and being filled with the SPIRIT, they should be growing to be able to use any gift of the SPIRIT in any situation as per the will of the LORD in that situation (Heb 2:4). An example is if you see a person trapped under a truck, the gift of the strength of the SPIRIT (like Samson had) can be used to free the person.
One way to decrease the living-old-flesh/soul is by fasting (Psm 35:15). Another way is to exercise self control in all things (1 Cor 10:25). Making a commitment and forcing yourself to do it. It is like exercise & sports that take you telling your body it will do what you want it to do even though your body doesn’t want to (1 Cor 10:26, 27). Another way is to read the Bible/Word and align your mind to the truth of the Bible/Word and go and do want is commanded in the Bible/Word (Rom 12:1, 2; James 1:22, 23, 24; Rom 8:3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13). You don’t need a leading from GOD to do what HE already told you to do in HIS Word. But, you may get a leading from GOD to not do in a certain place or at a certain time what HE already commanded you to do in the Bible/Word as in the example in Acts 16:6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Do you have to yell to heal someone? If you just have to lay hands on a person for them to be healed, then no you don’t have to yell. But, remember you are representing YESHUA. If you are healing with other people around, you will want them to be able to hear you so that the healing can be a sign to them as well as the person being healed.
Curry taught that when dealing with cancer, cast out the cancer and the fear of cancer. What seems to happen is the person is healed, and their doctor will tell them they are healed, but the cancer might come back after a few years. Then, when the person has some regular pain, they have a fear of the cancer coming back, and it does. When both the cancer and the fear of cancer was cast out, cancer does not occur in the person again. I assume he was talking about Believers as an unbeliever already has the promise that the cancer will be seven time worse if they do not have the SPIRIT within them (Mt 12:43, 44, 45; Luk 11:24, 25, 26). I am finding casting out the fear of any emotional or physical sickness/issue is helpful.
In the Old-Testament/Bible, there were things that were unclean that you could not touch because they would make you unclean (Lev 13:45, 46; 21:1, 2, 3). But, YESHUA seems to ignore these clean and unclean laws (Mt 8:3). The reason is because YESHUA never sinned, and the curse of sin did not apply to HIM (Heb 4:15). Sinless YESHUA as GOD in human flesh was/is always clean and could/can not be made unclean. So, when YESHUA touched something unclean, instead of YESHUA becoming unclean, the unclean became clean. The leprosy or sickness or death left the unclean person, and the person was healed and made clean. A Believer is also clean both spiritually and physically through YESHUA’s stripes, death on the Cross, and resurrection as explained above. The Believer is a new creation joined as one in marriage to the LORD (1 Cor 6:17; Jhn 14:20). The LORD indwells the Believer (1 Cor 3:16; 6:19). This means the Believer is also clean and can ignore the laws of clean and unclean, because everything they touch becomes clean. As long as a Believer thinks they can be made unclean and ‘voids the Word of GOD by their beliefs-in-action/tradition,’ they will become unclean/sick and not make the unclean clean. What if I believe I can not be made unclean, and I start to feel the symptom of sickness? Tell the sickness to leave immediately, and it will. When I started this walk in believing like this, in one week, I started to have every symptom of sickness I have ever had. They were not symptoms I was previously even thinking about. I just got upset/mad and told the enemy to leave immediately now, and they did. It was like the enemy was testing to see where I was in my walk with the LORD. Then, maybe 2 weeks later I was tested again and just told the enemy to leave. Reminded me of Jam 4:7.
Very important:
You might notice almost every time YESHUA is moved to compassion; and then, HE heals everyone (Mt 9:36, 37, 38; 10:1; 14:14; 20:34; Mrk 1:41 and so on). Compassion is placing yourself in the other person’s position [ref]. Compassion should move you to care about people being in bondage and slavery for years to the enemy and make you want to free them. It should even make you angry at the enemy. After Lazarus died in Jhn 11:14 and the people were weeping in Jhn 11:33, YESHUA “… was angery/snorting-with-anger in the spirit/SPIRIT and stirred/troubled/agitated HIMSELF” (Jhn 11:33) and then asked where Lazarus’s tomb was in Jhn 11:34. Why was YESHUA angry in HIS spirit/SPIRIT? He had compassion and was angry at the enemy of death. Healing someone should be out of your compassionate love for the person needing freed and healed. When healing is done through compassion, you don’t ask questions like “who caused this” (Jhn 9:2, 3), you ask questions like “how long have you had to suffer like this” (Mrk 9:21). If you have compassion, it is not about your glory, and you are not worried about what the crowd is going to say or think when you go to deliver healing to a person.
Something that helps to keep things in perspective: If the star RSGC1 was the size of a basketball, then the star Epsilon Pegasi would be about the size of the dollar coin. Then, if the star Epsilon Pegasi was the size of a giant 50 inch diameter Bigens bounce ball, then the our Sun would be the size of a green pea. Then, if if our Sun was the size of a giant 50 inch diameter Bigens bounce ball, the Earth would be the size of a blueberry. Then, if the Earth was the size of a giant 50 inch diameter Bigens bounce ball, the state of Rhode Island would be the size of a blueberry. Then, if the state of Rhode Island was the size of a giant 50 inch diameter Bigens bounce ball, the Empire State Building would be the size of a green pea. Then, if the size of the Empire State Building was the size of a parking space, a person would be the size of a grain of sand. If GOD can create an infinite universe full of stars that are even as big as RSGC1, it probably isn’t that big of a deal to completely heal a person the size of a speck.
If it is never the will of the LORD for anyone to sin, then should it ever be the will of a Believer to sin or want others to sin? And, if it is never the will of the LORD for anyone to have the curse of sin of sickness and death, then should it ever be the will of a Believer to want anyone to have the curse of sin of sickness and death? And, if every Believer has the authority in YESHUA’s/JESUS’s name to remove from any person the physical curse of sin, when is it ever ok for a Believer not to remove the physical curse of sin? Only if the person does not want the physical curse of sin removed (This is not Curry’s view, but it is what we believe the Scripture teaches [see Rulership]).
Mt 7:21 states, “21 “Not everyone who says to ME, ‘LORD, LORD,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of MY FATHER WHO is in Heaven.” Acts 10:38 states, “38 how GOD anointed YESHUA/JESUS of Nazareth with the HOLY SPIRIT and with Power, WHO went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the Devil, for GOD was with HIM.”
And, GOD is with every Believer as Heb 13:5 states, “… for HE has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. …”
Probably the most important part:
(Why place it here? Because the above teaching is needed to truly understand the gravity of this part.)
Since GOD hates sin and its curse of sickness and death and has already defeated it by HIS stripes, death on the Cross, and resurrection from the dead, why doesn’t GOD just heal everyone HIMSELF?
(The next paragraph that has been edited but not marked with green text is much better explained in the article Rulership.)
Gen 1:26 states, “26 GOD said, “Let US make man/mankind in OUR image, after OUR likeness. Let them have-dominion/rule/dominate over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” The LORD does not change (Mal 3:6). HE gave man/mankind the gift of rulership over all ‘Aretz/the-Earth. The LORD will not reverse what HE has done (Rom 11:29). Man/mankind is in charge of ‘Aretz/Earth. When man/mankind sinned, man/mankind gave his control of ‘Aretz/Earth over to the curse of sin that is death and to the one “… who had the power of death, that is, the Devil” (Heb 2:14). Then, YESHUA being a man without sin ruled over ‘Aretz/Earth as Gen 1:26 states men should do, and YESHUA set everyone free from the curse of sin of death and sickness while HE was walking upon ‘Aretz/Earth and in HIS stipes, death on the Cross, and resurrection from death. By YESHUA conquering death (Rev 1:18) and making every Believer clean and holy (1 Pet 2:9) and sending the SPIRIT and the Power of the SPIRIT within every Believer (Jhn 16:7, 8; Acts 1:8; Rom 15:13, 19; 1 Cor 2:4; 5:4; Eph 3:16; 1 Thess 1:5; 2 Tim 1:7), every Believer now has in the name of YESHUA full authority to rule/dominate over all ‘Aretz/Earth. This is why Rom 8:19, 20, 21, 22 states, “19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the Children of GOD to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the Children of GOD. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.” The Children of GOD are the Believers in YESHUA/JESUS. Yes, GOD owns everything (Psm 24:1), but man/mankind, not GOD, has to rule over ‘Aretz/Earth [see Rulership]. Believers as men (and women) are the only ones right now that have an undefeated rulership in YESHUA over all ‘Aretz/Earth. This is why Believers can not ask GOD to do what HE has given them to do. If evil and darkness and sickness and death are upon ‘Aretz, it is a Believer’s job to cast it out, not GOD’s. Man/mankind, including Believers, are responsible for the evil that is here, and we are responsible for getting rid of it. Don’t blame GOD for the evil and disasters upon ‘Aretz/Earth. LORD forgive us Believers who are not doing our job. But, it is the enemy who has crept into the Church and spread lies that Believers believe so that he might lift himself up to where he does not belong. It is time for Believers to break down the walls that are dividing us and take back what was stolen from us, our understanding of who we are in the LORD ALMIGHTY.
Incense was to be burned in the Tabernacle/Temple continuously (Ex 30:7, 8). 1 Cor 3:16 states, “16 Don’t you know that you are GOD’s Temple and that GOD’s SPIRIT lives in you?” And, the prayers of the Saints/Believers are like the smoke of incense that is to continually burn before the LORD (Rev 5:8; 8:3, 4).
This next topic helps with healing, helps a Believer to grow, to walk with the LORD, and to operate with and in the fullness of the SPIRIT in all the gifts needed at the time they are needed in any situation as guided by the LORD in the SPIRIT as the Believer works with the SPIRIT through life. Shortly after I was baptized with water, I began speaking with words I didn’t understand when I was praising the LORD. I didn’t know what tongues was. I had never had hands laid on me to receive the Baptism of Fire (which I also didn’t even know existed). After this speaking in words I did not understand happened 3 times, I said to the LORD: ‘I do not know what I am saying’ and ‘I do not want to say something bad when I am praising YOU.’ I did not speak with words I did not understand until many years later when I learned the gift of tongues exist. Then, I asked the LORD to speak through me by the SPIRIT that I might be available to say prayers for people that I didn’t know needed prayer or that I didn’t know how to pray for. I then again started speaking in words I did not understand. The gift of tongues is a touchy subject for some Believers. As noted above per Scripture, you do not have to speak in tongues to be a Believer. That said, the importance of tongues has been overlooked even within the pentecostal Church. When you speak in tongues, you can still think in your mind and have a conversation with the LORD in your head (1 Cor 14:14). This means 1 Thess 5:17 stating, “17 Pray without ceasing” can actually be done by speaking a prayer in tongues while doing something else. You can pray all day long, lifting incense to the LORD continually. This means you can have a constant connection with the LORD in your spirit all day long (1 Cor 14:2). With tongues, as with any gift of the SPIRIT, it is the LORD WHO is speaking through you, but you do not understand what you are saying unless you interpret by the SPIRIT what was said (1 Cor 14:13). It is the LORD you are speaking to when you are speaking in tongues (1 Cor 14:2). And, just as the fruit of healing is seen through the action of a Believer moving their hand to deliver healing by the SPIRIT as they believe in the name YESHUA that by HIS stripes we are healed, the fruit of tongues is started by the Believer believing in the name of YESHUA that tongues can be spoken and stating the first word or syllable that comes to their mind when they want to speak in tongues. This means if there is a situation that you do not understand, but you want to pray for it, then you can pray in tongues for the situation, and the LORD knowing what is going on in the situation will pray through you a perfect prayer for the situation (Rom 8:26, 27). Once the prayer is done, the tongues will come to an end. The tongues will also stop if you don’t want to continue to speak in tongues, like if you need to talk to a person, and you can continue right where you left off in the prayer when you continue again in tongues. So, the LORD is not controlling the Believer, the Believer is allowing the LORD to work through them (1 Cor 14:31, 32, 33). Tongues also gives the person speaking the tongues the benefit of edification and rest/peace (1 Cor 14:4, 21; Isa 28:11, 12). If you are weary/faint/exhausted, tongues will lift you up, wake you up, and even give you strength (Isa 28:12). If you just make yourself available for the LORD to pray through you through tongues for whatever HE would like to use the prayer for while you are working, you will notice you will speak in a language and then switch languages as though you are moving on to a different prayer. You may also have different emotions for each prayer. One of tongues many purposes is to be able to reverse the division of language started at the Tower of Bavel/Babel/Babylon (Gen 11:1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). This way a Believer can bring the Good News to unbelievers with different languages and unite Believers in YESHUA (Acts 2:4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 38, 39, 40, 41; 1 Cor 14:10). It is a handy gift that can be used in many situations, including healing (which is why it is being taught in this article). Through tongues and interpretation of tongues, a Believer can learn a new gift of the SPIRIT (1 Cor 14:2). Tongues can be spoken, yelled, whispered, sang, rapped, and grunted (Rom 8:26; 1 Cor 14:15). And, remember a whispered is just as powerful as yelling, because it is the power of the SPIRIT of the LORD at work through the Believer in faith in the name of YESHUA/JESUS, not the power/volume of the Believer.
Another language is sign language. Just as the LORD can move your tongue to speak a different language, HE can also move your hand to speak sign language. You can speak tongues through one hand. This means you can have 3 different prayers going for three different situations through your 2 hands and 1 tongue while still having a conversation with the LORD in your mind; or, you could do this to pray more quickly for an urgent situation. Interestingly, using both hands and your tongue to speak in tongues greatly increases the amount of rest and strength received from the LORD. As moving your hands can be a language and a part of the tongues gift, HE can move your hands with colors and shapes to be a language. Flagging with flags of different colors and shapes is a language. Morse code is a language as well. The telegraph was used to send sound waves to deliver a message. Sitting relaxed, HE can move the knees together and apart in what seems like sound wave formation. Tapping with the feet could be a language. Musical instruments can be used to prophesy (1 Chron 25:1, 2) and be used as a language along with whistling (see LIGHT and Sound). If you have read the Ancient Hebrew section, you know different parts of our body have different meanings. This means different body positions have different meanings. So, dancing is a language; maybe that is what is going on with David in 2 Sam 6:16. And, so on. I don’t want any Believer to place the LORD in a box of what is possible. We each experience the LORD in different ways.
The victory has already been won through the Cross and Resurrection. Let us stand in that victory knowing who we are in YESHUA/JESUS and prepare the Way before the LORD WHO is the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords.
